Aroamr only works if the ratings in it are honest. Most of what follows is the legal scaffolding around that one idea.
The short version. Rate coffee you actually drank. Don't rate your own cafe, and don't take anything to rate one a particular way. What you post is yours, but you let us publish it. Cafe details come from Google and may be wrong. Be decent to other members.

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME, ABN XX XXX XXX XXX] ("Aroamr", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
Our Privacy Policy forms part of this agreement.
You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. One account per person.
This is the part that matters. Every score in Aroamr is built from members' answers, so a dishonest rating doesn't just break a rule, it misleads the next person deciding where to spend their money.
You agree that you will:
Manipulating ratings may also breach the Australian Consumer Law, which prohibits misleading or deceptive conduct and false testimonials. We remove ratings we believe are fake or incentivised, and we close the accounts behind them.
You keep ownership of your ratings, comments and photos. You are not signing them over to us.
By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for example, resizing an image) and display that content in the app, on our website and in material promoting Aroamr. This licence lasts while your content is on Aroamr, and ends when you remove it, except for copies already made in backups or in material already published.
You confirm that the content is yours to post and does not infringe anyone else's rights.
Do not post anything that is:
A disappointing coffee is a fair thing to report. A personal attack on the barista who made it is not.
Photos you attach to a rating are publicly visible in the app and on the cafe's gallery. Photograph the coffee and the venue, not the people in it. If someone is identifiable in your photo, you need their agreement before you post it.
Any member can report a photo. Two reports hide it automatically pending review. We may remove any photo at our discretion.
Cafe names, addresses, opening hours, map positions and star ratings shown alongside ours come from Google and other third-party sources. We don't control that data and can't guarantee it is accurate or current. Check with the cafe before you make the trip.
Aroamr scores are opinions contributed by members. They are not a professional assessment, and they are not a statement by us about any business.
We may remove content, hide a photo, suspend an account or close it, with or without notice, where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached. Where it is practical we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
We are not obliged to monitor everything posted, and we do not endorse any member's opinion.
Your venue may appear in Aroamr because it appears in public mapping data. Members may rate it, and you can't require those ratings to be removed because you disagree with them.
If a rating is defamatory, breaches these terms, or was clearly left by someone who was never there, email us and we will look into it. If information about your venue is wrong, tell us and we will correct what we can.
You cannot pay to improve your position, remove a rating, or be featured. There is nothing to buy.
The Aroamr name, logo, bean mark, rating system, question set and the app itself are ours or our licensors'. You may not copy, reverse engineer, scrape, or build a competing product from them, and you may not use our branding without written permission.
The app is provided free of charge. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it, and we may update these terms. If we make a material change we will give you notice in the app. Continuing to use Aroamr after that means you accept the updated terms.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Beyond those rights, the app is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that cafe information will be accurate, or that a cafe rated highly by the community will suit your taste.
Where we are permitted to limit a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited to supplying the service again.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or loss arising from your reliance on a rating, a cafe listing, or any other content in the app.
You are responsible for what you post, and you agree to indemnify us against claims arising from content you post in breach of these terms.
You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may close an account that breaches these terms. What happens to your ratings is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Sections 5, 10, 12, 13 and 15 survive the end of this agreement.
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
